RIGA (Interstat) — Auda defeated visiting Jelgava 4-3 at Stadions Skonto in a seven-goal contest, using a balanced attack and a two-goal effort from Eduards Daskevics. Filip Hasek also scored twice for Jelgava, while Tomas Rataj, Edvin Bongemba and Hussaini Ibrahim added one goal apiece. Tin Hrvoj supplied two assists, Andrews Appiah had an assist and a yellow card, and Armands Petersons recorded one assist. Daskevics opened the scoring in the 33rd minute, Bongemba made it 2-0 in the 41st, and Hasek pulled one back in the 45th. Daskevics scored again in the 57th, Rataj answered in the 60th, Ibrahim restored Auda’s cushion in the 66th, and Hasek completed the scoring in the 72nd. Yellow cards went to Auda’s A. Arroyo and Jelgava’s G. Zaleiko before halftime, and Appiah was booked in the 59th. Auda moved to 3-1 in the competition and across all competitions, while Jelgava fell to 0-4 in both.
