PANEVEŽYS, Lithuania (Interstat) — Darlington Nwosu scored twice as visiting FK Tauras Taurage defeated home side Ekranas 2-1 on Friday at Žemynos progimnazijos stadionas in Panevėžys. Nwosu opened the scoring in the 17th minute, and Obedia Gyimah leveled for Ekranas in the 19th. Nwosu restored Tauras’ lead in the 36th minute and finished with two goals over 90 minutes. Gyimah played 90 minutes and scored once for Ekranas, accounting for his team’s only goal. The result moved FK Tauras Taurage to one win, one loss and one draw in the competition and overall. Ekranas is now one win, two losses and one draw in the competition and overall. Both records match their competition marks. Tauras had previously lost to Be1 NFA and drawn with Hegelmann Litauen II. Ekranas had beaten Neptunas, lost to Dainava Alytus and drawn with Transinvest II. Nwosu was Tauras’ top star.
