BASINGSTOKE, England (Interstat) — Trevan Robinson scored twice in the opening 13 minutes as Uxbridge beat Basingstoke 2-0 on Tuesday in a Southern League Premier match. Robinson opened the scoring in the 10th minute and doubled the visitors’ lead in the 13th, and Uxbridge protected the advantage from there. The visitors led from the 10th minute onward. The result improved Uxbridge to four wins, no losses and one draw in the competition and seven wins, one loss and one draw across all competitions. Basingstoke dropped to two wins, four losses and two draws in the competition and two wins, five losses and two draws overall. Basingstoke, the home side, could not find a response after the early goals. Uxbridge’s Robinson was the game’s top star. Neither side added another goal after the 13th minute, and Uxbridge closed out the clean sheet. Uxbridge remained unbeaten in the competition after the result.
