PODGORICA, Montenegro (Interstat) — Montenegro U17 W defeated Andorra U17 W 5-1 on Monday, pulling away with three late goals. Teodora Cebalovic and Elena Damjanovic each scored twice for Montenegro, while Milena Cukic added one goal. Noa Tesorero scored Andorra’s lone goal. Nikolina Lakovic, Nadja Ivanovic and Katarina Mitrovic each recorded an assist. Cebalovic opened the scoring in the 30th minute, and Cukic added Montenegro’s second goal in the 57th. Damjanovic scored in the 85th and 87th minutes, and Cebalovic closed the scoring in the 89th. Vlaovic S. and Orahovac I. received yellow cards for Montenegro in the 61st and 66th minutes. Montenegro used substitutions in the 46th, 77th and 90th minutes, while Andorra made changes in the 77th and 87th. The result moves Montenegro to 1-0 in this competition and across all competitions; Andorra falls to 0-1 in both. Damjanovic was Montenegro’s top performer.
