Montaneses played a man down after receiving a red card in the 68th minute and finished with another red card in the fourth minute of stoppage time. Lobos improved to 3-1 this season in the competition and 3-1 across all competitions. Montaneses dropped to 2-3 in the competition and 2-3 across all competitions. Montaneses could not recover after the first goal and struggled to create a consistent response while chasing the game. Lobos managed the closing stages with discipline and protected the shutout despite the late dismissal.
