NANTES, France (Interstat) — Nantes W rallied past Strasbourg W 3-2 on Saturday at Stade Marcel-Saupin, overturning an early deficit in a five-goal match. Strasbourg W struck first in the 5th minute when Megane Hoeltzel scored, and the visitors held that lead into halftime. Nantes W equalized in the 45th minute through Victoria Krug, then went ahead in the 60th minute on Adele Connesson’s goal. Connesson finished with one goal and one assist in 89 minutes. Laurine Hannequin pulled Strasbourg W level in the 64th minute. Nantes W’s Krug scored once. Hoeltzel’s goal came in a 59-minute outing, while Strasbourg W’s Ana Maria Crnogorcevic supplied an assist in 31 minutes. Nantes W improved to 2-0-1 in the competition and 2-1-1 across all competitions. Strasbourg W moved to 1-1-1 in the competition and 3-1-1 overall.
