BOBO-DIOULASSO (Interstat) — FocuSport came from behind to beat home side Maya 2-1 on Sunday at Stade Wobi in Bobo-Dioulasso, Burkina Faso. Maya opened the scoring in the 39th minute when Abdoul Kader Traore found the net. FocuSport answered in the 56th minute through Marius Goho Didier, then took the lead with a goal in the 77th minute. FocuSport held on from there to improve to 2-1 in the competition and 2-1 across all competitions this season. Maya fell to 1-2 in the competition and 1-2 overall. Traore was among Maya’s key performers, while Goho Didier delivered a key goal for FocuSport. FocuSport’s previous results this season included a loss to Rahimo and a win at Sporting Cascades, while Maya had beaten CFFEB and lost at AS Douanes. FocuSport trailed at halftime before scoring twice after the break. The contest produced three goals. The visitors’ second-half response decided a tightly contested match.
