ROEDINGHAUSEN, Germany (Interstat) — Malek El Mala scored twice and Etienne Borie added another goal as Koln II defeated Rodinghausen 3-2 Friday at Häcker Wiehenstadion. Ben Klefisch gave Rodinghausen a first-minute lead, but El Mala answered in the 17th and 28th minutes to put Koln II ahead. Borie made it 3-1 in the 63rd, and Ansgar Kuhlmann pulled Rodinghausen back in the 88th. Koln II improved to 2-1 in the competition and 2-1 overall. Rodinghausen fell to 1-3 in competition and 1-3 overall. El Mala was Koln II’s top performer, while Klefisch and Kuhlmann scored for Rodinghausen. Koln II previously beat Hilden and lost to B. Monchengladbach II. Rodinghausen had beaten Lotte while losing to Bochum II and Oberhausen before the match. The win gave Koln II its second victory of the season in the competition, while Rodinghausen remained on one win.
