RIO DE JANEIRO (Interstat) — Flamengo RJ U20 defeated visiting Criciuma U20 4-1 on Wednesday as four different players scored. Capella scored for Criciuma, while Diego Queiroz, D. Guimaraes, Pablo Lucio and Rafinha each found the net for Flamengo. Queiroz opened the scoring in the 32nd minute, and Guimaraes doubled the lead in the 41st. Capella pulled Criciuma back in the 48th, but Pablo Lucio restored Flamengo’s two-goal cushion in the 64th. Rafinha sealed the result in the 90th. Flamengo led 2-0 at halftime before Criciuma briefly cut the deficit. Flamengo scored twice after the break and secured the three-goal margin. Flamengo improved to 2-0 in the competition and 2-1 across all competitions. Criciuma dropped to 1-1 in the competition and 1-1 across all competitions. Flamengo next hosts Marica U20 in Carioca U20 play. The win followed Flamengo’s recent loss to Vasco U20 and a victory over Vasco U20, while Criciuma had beaten Barra FC U20 earlier in the season.
