Rocco Hickey equalized for Forfar Athletic in the 70th. Christopher Hamilton scored the winner in the 88th, securing the home victory. Turner and Hamilton each played 90 minutes and scored once. Hickey also played the full match and scored once for Forfar, while Aaron Arnott provided an assist. The home side took the lead before halftime and held it until Hickey’s equalizer. Hamilton’s late strike restored Ross County’s advantage. Forfar Athletic could not find a second equalizer before the final whistle. Ross County improved to 1-0 in this competition and 3-0 overall. Forfar Athletic moved to 2-1 in the competition and 2-3 overall. Ross County previously beat Alloa and Montrose.
