WORCESTER, England (Interstat) — Daniel Jarvis scored twice and Zachary Willis added another goal as Stourbridge beat Worcester 3-1 on Tuesday in a football match. Willis opened the scoring in the 8th minute, and Jarvis doubled the lead in the 22nd. Nathan Hayward pulled Worcester back in the 52nd, but Jarvis restored the two-goal cushion in the 67th. Jarvis finished with two goals, Willis had one and Hayward scored Worcester’s only goal. Stourbridge improved to 2-1-1 in the competition and 3-1-1 overall. Worcester dropped to 0-2-2 in the competition and 1-3-2 overall. Stourbridge next plays Bury Town, while Worcester visits Chorley. Stourbridge led 2-0 after Willis and Jarvis struck before Hayward’s response. Jarvis was Stourbridge’s top star, while Willis and Hayward also scored key goals. Stourbridge’s victory followed a win over Leighton Town, a loss to Racing Club Warwick, a draw with Alvechurch and a win at Rushall. Worcester’s result followed a loss at Rushall, a win at Kettering, a draw at Racing Club Warwick, a loss to Leek and a draw with Banbury.
