GAINSBOROUGH, England (Interstat) — Gainsborough defeated Ilkeston 3-1 on Tuesday, using goals from Frank Mulhern Euan, Ronnie Kokkinos and Offler Ashton to stay unbeaten in the competition. Kokkinos scored in the 57th minute, and Ashton added a goal in the fifth minute of second-half stoppage time. Anthony Dwyer scored for Ilkeston. The home side scored three times overall, while the visitor scored once. The match was played in the NPL Premier Division. Gainsborough improved to 3-0-1 in the competition and 3-2-1 across all competitions. Ilkeston dropped to 0-5 in the competition and 0-7 overall.
