TARAPOTO, Peru (Interstat) — Union Comercio defeated Ayacucho 5-0 on Monday at Estadio Municipal Carlos Vidaurre García, controlling the match from early on at home. Alessandro Pinedo and Ray Gomez each played 90 minutes and scored once, while Breidy Goluz scored twice in 60 minutes and Gino Guerrero added one in 60 minutes. Goluz opened the scoring in the 18th minute, Pinedo made it 2-0 in the 25th, Guerrero added a third in the 47th and Gomez completed the scoring in the 87th. Ayacucho was held without a goal and received yellow cards in the 71st, 84th and 89th minutes, with Tamariz and Mezarina booked late. Union Comercio improved to 1-0 in the competition and overall, while Ayacucho dropped to 0-1 in both. The home side made substitutions in the 56th and 60th minutes, and Ayacucho changed players in the 35th, 46th and 69th.
