ULAANBAATAR (Interstat) — FC Ulaanbaatar defeated Khaan Khuns-Erchim 3-1 on Sunday behind two goals from Temuujin Altansukh. Takeru Terashima scored for Khaan Khuns-Erchim. Enkhtulga Batmunkh added the other goal for FC Ulaanbaatar. FC Ulaanbaatar improved to 2-0 in the competition and 2-0 across all competitions. Khaan Khuns-Erchim fell to 0-1 in the competition and 0-1 overall. FC Ulaanbaatar previously beat Ulaangom City 8-0 at home this season. The visitors produced the decisive attacking moments and protected their advantage after moving ahead. Khaan Khuns-Erchim stayed within reach early but could not match FC Ulaanbaatar’s finishing. Altansukh led FC Ulaanbaatar’s attack, while Batmunkh also scored in the win. The result extended FC Ulaanbaatar’s unbeaten start and left Khaan Khuns-Erchim seeking its first victory. FC Ulaanbaatar’s victory came in its second competition match of the season. Altansukh’s two-goal performance paced the visitors, and Batmunkh’s goal helped secure the result. Khaan Khuns-Erchim’s Terashima found the net for the home side, but FC Ulaanbaatar answered with a stronger offensive showing.
