KUSATSU, Japan (Interstat) — Kusatsu overcame an early deficit and defeated visiting Ryukyu 2-1 on Saturday in a football match, getting the decisive goal from Masato Nuki in the 57th minute. Ryukyu had taken the lead through Yuma Kato in the sixth minute, but Kusatsu responded before halftime and then moved ahead after the break. The result left Ryukyu at 0-1 in the competition and 0-1 across all competitions, while Kusatsu improved to 1-0 in the competition and 1-0 overall.
