RECOLETA, Chile (Interstat) — Magallanes defeated Recoleta 2-1 on Saturday at Estadio Municipal de Recoleta, scoring twice after conceding first. Pedro Sanchez gave Recoleta a 24th-minute lead and played the full 90 minutes. Cristobal Jorquera scored for Magallanes in the 33rd minute and played 76 minutes. Yellow cards went to Magallanes’ Alegre in the 9th, Recoleta’s Viveros in the 47th, Magallanes’ James in the 55th, Recoleta’s Provoste in the 67th, Magallanes’ Quiroz in the 73rd and Magallanes’ Walters in the 90th. Magallanes made substitutions involving Salinas Flores and Farfan in the 46th and 65th, respectively, plus Alegre in the 65th, Quiroz and Jorquera in the 76th. Recoleta used Lara in the 46th, Flores in the 62nd, Viveros and Gonzalez in the 63rd, and Espinoza in the 81st. Magallanes improved to 2-0-0 in the competition and overall. Recoleta fell to 1-1-0 in the competition and overall.
