VIENNA (Interstat) — Wacker Innsbruck defeated host SK Rapid II 2-1 on Saturday, as Luis Gstrein scored in the 2nd minute and Mouhamed Sy added a goal in the 90th-plus-1st minute. Robin Littig and Rami Tekir each provided an assist. David Berger scored for SK Rapid II in the 21st minute. Gstrein was shown a yellow card in the 24th minute, while SK Rapid II’s Jozepovic and Silber received yellow cards in the 1st and 74th minutes, respectively. Wacker Innsbruck made substitutions in the 64th minute involving Gstrein and again in the 69th and 86th minutes. SK Rapid II also made changes in the 69th, 86th and 90th-plus-2nd minutes. Wacker Innsbruck improved to 1-0 in the competition and 3-0 across all competitions. SK Rapid II dropped to 2-6 in the competition and 2-6 across all competitions. Wacker Innsbruck will host A. Salzburg next, while SK Rapid II travels to St. Polten.
