KENOVA, W.Va. (Interstat) — Tersana and Kahrabaa Ismailia played to a 2-2 draw at Mit Okba Stadium on Thursday, leaving both clubs at 1-0-1 in the competition and across all competitions. Tersana scored twice before halftime, finding the net in the 3rd minute and again in the 16th. Kahrabaa Ismailia responded after the break, cutting the deficit in the 62nd minute and equalizing in the 82nd. Neither team managed a decisive goal over the closing stretch, and the draw stood. Kahrabaa Ismailia had entered the match following a 2-0 win over Delta United. Tersana had won 1-0 at Pharco earlier this season. The result extended the parity between the sides and kept their early-season records identical. Tersana applied pressure early and converted its chances, while Kahrabaa Ismailia adjusted after halftime and clawed back into the contest. The visitors’ late push produced the leveler, but they could not complete the comeback. Tersana, meanwhile, could not restore its lead after holding the early advantage.
