ZARAGOZA (Interstat) — Jaume Jardi recorded a goal and an assist and Zaragoza defeated visiting CD Teruel 4-1 on Sunday at TBC, turning a tight early match into a comfortable home victory. The result moved Zaragoza to 1-0 in the competition and 1-0 across all competitions, while CD Teruel fell to 0-1-1 in the competition and 0-1-1 overall. Zaragoza’s breakthrough came just before halftime and then again immediately after the restart, a sequence that changed the match. The home side finished with four different scorers and three assists.

Oscar Urena opened the scoring in the 45+7th minute, converting during first-half stoppage time to give Zaragoza a lead just before the break. The goal arrived after a first half that included two early yellow cards for CD Teruel. Sergio Moreno was booked in the seventh minute, and J. de Diego was cautioned in the 24th. Zaragoza’s P. D. Espiau Hernandez E. scored in the 47th minute, finishing quickly after the interval to make it 2-0. D. Espiau Hernandez E. was later substituted in the 60th minute. Zaragoza continued to press, and Pau Sans added a third goal in the 77th minute during a 17-minute appearance.
