BAYONNE, France (Interstat) — Les Herbiers claimed a 1-0 victory over Bayonne as Benjamin Brelivet scored the only goal and played the full 90 minutes.

The win moved Les Herbiers to 1 win and 0 losses this season. Bayonne fell to 4 wins, 1 loss and 1 tie.

Bayonne had entered the match with wins against Granville, Saumur Olympique, Lorient II and Chateaubriant, plus a draw against Angouleme CFC. The home side could not find an equalizer after Brelivet’s goal.

Brelivet’s 90-minute performance provided the decisive moment for Les Herbiers, which protected its narrow lead to finish the match.

Interstat’s ELO system had projected Bayonne with a 72.8 percent probability to win before the match. Les Herbiers instead left with the victory.
