GROSSETO, Italy (Interstat) — Grosseto defeated Perugia 2-0 on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2026, in a Serie C soccer match at Stadio Olimpico Carlo Zecchini. The home side scored twice and held the visitors scoreless, securing another unbeaten result in the competition. Perugia played the final half-hour with 10 men after a red card, and Grosseto took advantage to close out the win. The victory kept Grosseto’s record without a loss and handed Perugia its second league defeat of the season. Grosseto’s defense preserved the clean sheet as Perugia pushed for a way back into the match.
