AL WAKRAH, Qatar (Interstat) — Al Rayyan defeated Qatar SC 3-0 on Friday at Al Janoub Stadium, using an early burst to pull away in the global football match. Gabriel Pereira scored twice for the visitors, while Roger Guedes added another goal and Otavio provided two assists. Guedes opened the scoring in the 19th minute. Pereira doubled the lead in the 22nd, then completed his brace in the 54th. Otavio helped set up two of Al Rayyan’s goals. Amaro A. received a yellow card for Al Rayyan in the 77th minute. Al Rayyan made substitutions in the 59th, 75th and 85th minutes, while Qatar SC changed three players in the 74th. For Al Rayyan, De Sart J. and Alaaeldin A. entered in the 59th minute. Otavio and Gabriel Pereira exited in the 75th, and Amaro A. came off in the 85th. Al Rayyan improved to 4-0-1 in the competition and 4-0-2 overall. Qatar SC fell to 0-3-2 in the competition and 1-3-2 overall.
