Sharjah led 2-0 after Cheickna Doumbia scored right-footed goals in the 12th and 38th minutes. Ajman replied through Sékou Baba Gassama’s left-footed goal in the 72nd, Jobson’s right-footed strike in the 74th and Victor Henrique’s right-footed winner in the third minute of stoppage time. Yellow cards went to Ajman’s Gjoko Zajkov and Lithierry and Sharjah’s Igor Coronado, Diney and Charles Pickel. Zajkov was booked in the 58th, Coronado in the 69th, Diney in the 79th, Lithierry in the 84th and Pickel in stoppage time. Ajman improved to 1-0 in the competition and 4-2 overall.
