MOSTA, Malta (Interstat) — Sliema defeated host Mosta 3-1 on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2026, in a Maltese Premier League match at Charles Abela Memorial Stadium. The visiting side took control early when Gustavo scored in the 16th minute and Nikolaos Karelis added another in the 19th. Mosta answered in the 59th minute through Giancarlo, but Brian Gambarte sealed the result in the fifth minute of second-half stoppage time. Gambarte, a forward, scored once in 13 minutes.
