VEJLE, Denmark (Interstat) — Marcus Younis and Sho Fukuda scored as Brøndby defeated Vejle 2-1 on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026, at Vejle Stadion in a DBU Pokalen match. Mathias Jensen gave Vejle an early lead in the 38th minute. Younis equalized two minutes later and also received a yellow card in second-half stoppage time. Fukuda scored the winner in the 84th minute after entering as a substitute and playing 10 minutes. Younis played 90 minutes, scored once and was booked. Jensen played 90 minutes and scored once. Mike Vestergård of Vejle was cautioned in the 55th minute, while Oliver Rose-Villadsen of Brøndby was booked in stoppage time. Vejle previously beat Silkeborg and Tarup-Paarup in the competition, while Brøndby was making its first appearance in this season’s DBU Pokalen. Brøndby improved to 1-0 in the competition and 5-3-1 overall. Vejle moved to 2-1 in the competition and 2-1 overall. Brøndby will host København on Sunday.
