DIYARBAKIR (Interstat) — Gift Orban scored three goals as Amed Sportif routed Başakşehir 5-0 on Sunday in a Süper Lig match at Diyarbakır Yeni Stadyumu. Emin Bayram opened the scoring in first-half stoppage time before Orban struck in the 52nd, 56th and 75th minutes. Mbaye Diagne added a goal in the 84th minute. Amed Sportif improved to 3-0-1 in the competition and across all competitions, while Başakşehir fell to 0-3-1 in both. Başakşehir’s Christopher Operi and Umut Güneş received yellow cards in the sixth and 54th minutes, respectively, and Amed Sportif’s Ermal Krasniqi was booked in the 60th. Orban played 80 minutes, and Diagne played 10. Amed Sportif entered after a 2-2 draw at Kasımpaşa on Sept. 6. Başakşehir had lost 3-2 to Galatasaray on Sept. 4. Amed Sportif next hosts Beşiktaş on Sunday, Sept. 20, while Başakşehir hosts Gençlerbirliği on Saturday, Sept. 19.
