ISTANBUL (Interstat) — Abdülkerim Bardakcı scored in the 71st minute Sunday, and Galatasaray held on to beat Kocaelispor 1-0 at RAMS Park in a Süper Lig match organized by the league in Turkiye. The Sept. 13, 2026, contest remained scoreless until Bardakcı broke through. Kocaelispor’s Anfernee Dijksteel was booked in the 22nd minute. Galatasaray’s Deniz Gül received a yellow card in the 56th, Bardakcı in the 72nd and Roland Sallai in the fourth minute of second-half stoppage time. Galatasaray improved to four wins, no losses and one draw in the competition and across all competitions. Kocaelispor moved to three wins and two losses in the league and overall. Kocaelispor had beaten Samsunspor, Konyaspor and Amed Sportif and lost to Rams Başakşehir. Galatasaray had defeated Başakşehir, Göztepe and Erzurumspor and drawn with Çorum. Galatasaray next visits Trabzonspor on Sept. 20, while Kocaelispor hosts Gaziantep on Sept. 19.
