Bruno Jerabek scored in the 14th minute, and Noel Polonkai made it 2-0 in the 48th. Nicolas Jozepovic pulled one back for Rapid II in the 52nd, but Illia Menshykov scored in the 83rd and 90th-plus-2 minute to seal the win. Menshykov finished with two goals in 13 minutes. Polonkai played 87 minutes, Jerabek 77 and Jozepovic 90. Paul Ertl received a yellow card in the second minute and a red in the 64th for Rapid II. Rapid II played with 10 men after the red card. Ange Ahoussou and Daniel Mahiya also were booked for Rapid II, while Marcel Moswitzer was cautioned for Young Violets. The victory moved Young Violets Austria Wien to 4-3 in the competition and across all competitions. Rapid II dropped to 2-5 in the competition and overall.
