Sheffield United and Birmingham City play to scoreless draw

SHEFFIELD (Interstat) — Sheffield United and Birmingham City opened their Championship seasons with a scoreless draw Friday, Aug. 14, 2026, at Bramall Lane. Birmingham returns home to face Bristol City on Aug. 21, while Sheffield United begins a stretch of away games at Swansea City the same day.
