SWANSEA, Wales (Interstat) — Joe Davies scored in the 29th minute and set up Florian Bianchini in the fifth minute of first-half stoppage time as Swansea U21 beat Birmingham U21 3-0 on Thursday, Aug. 13, 2026, in the Premier League Cup at Swansea City FC Youth Academy Training Centre in Glamorgan. Thomas Woodward added a goal in the 78th minute. Davies finished with a goal and an assist, Bianchini scored, and substitutes Cobi Maddox and Jack Quirk each recorded an assist. Harlan Perry, a midfielder for Birmingham, also had an assist. Yellow cards were shown in the 34th minute to Cobi Maddox, in the 49th to Joe Davies, in the 55th to Jack Quirk and in the 63rd to Harlan Perry. The teams are scheduled to meet again Oct. 29 in Birmingham. Swansea next hosts Huddersfield U21 on Sept. 6 and Gillingham on Sept. 30, while Birmingham visits Gillingham on Sept. 14 and hosts Huddersfield U21 on Oct. 8.
