LONDON (Interstat) — Emmerson Sutton scored twice as QPR U21 defeated Bolton U21 4-1 in a Premier League Cup match on Thursday, Aug. 13, 2026, at MATRADE Loftus Road Stadium in London.

Justin Obikwu, a midfielder, opened the scoring in the 29th minute, and Fraser Neill, a midfielder, doubled the lead in the 57th. Sutton, a forward, made it 3-0 in the 59th minute. Denver Clement, a substitute, pulled one back for Bolton in the 82nd minute, but Sutton added his second goal in the second minute of stoppage time to complete the scoring.

Max Lott, a substitute, and Rocco Friel, a defender, each had an assist for QPR U21. Lucas Kirkpatrick, a substitute, and Christian Pullella, a defender, each had an assist for Bolton U21. The match was part of the Premier League Cup, a competition played in England. The teams are scheduled to meet again Nov. 1. That match will be at Bolton U21.
