Foggia opened the scoring in the third minute when Yanis Merdji found the net. Alessandro Milani equalized for Inter in the fifth minute. Tommaso Fumagalli put the home side ahead in first-half stoppage time, and Tommaso Avitabile added a third in the 63rd minute. Foggia added a second goal later.
