BELFAST, Northern Ireland (Interstat) — Linfield defeated Crusaders 1-0 on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026, in a Northern Ireland Premiership match at Windsor Park. Kitt Nelson scored the only goal in the 47th minute, giving Linfield the lead. The hosts protected the narrow advantage through the second half. Crusaders could not respond and finished with no goals. Linfield improved to 6-1-1 in the competition and across all competitions. Crusaders moved to 4-4 in the competition and overall. The victory followed Linfield’s 1-1 draw at Portadown on Tuesday, Sept. 15. Linfield also beat Dungannon 1-0 on Sept. 12 and Carrick 1-0 on Sept. 5. Crusaders entered after a 3-0 home win over Dungannon on Sept. 15, a 2-1 loss to Limavady on Sept. 12 and a 4-1 loss at Coleraine on Sept. 5. Linfield’s next Premiership fixture is at Coleraine on Friday, Sept. 25. Crusaders host Bangor on Saturday, Sept. 26.
