MAINZ, Germany (Interstat) — Rebecka Blomqvist scored in the 70th minute as visiting Frankfurt completed a 3-2 comeback win over Mainz 05 on Friday, Sept. 18, 2026, at Mewa Arena in a Frauen Bundesliga match. Mainz built a two-goal lead when Kara Bathmann scored in the sixth minute and Sabina Jackson added another in the 30th. Frankfurt answered after halftime, with Marthine Østenstad cutting the deficit in the 58th, Johanna Berg equalizing in the 65th and Blomqvist netting the winner five minutes later. Bathmann also received a yellow card in the 51st minute.
