The result kept TSC unbeaten in the competition and across all competitions and extended Teleoptik’s difficult run. Mihajlo Neskovic opened the scoring for TSC in the 11th minute, and Lazar Radosavljevic pulled Teleoptik level in the 54th. Soprenic then supplied the winning goal 20 minutes later. TSC’s season record in the competition is now 9-0-6, and its record across all competitions is identical. Teleoptik’s season record in the competition is now 3-8-4, and its record across all competitions is identical. The visitors protected the one-goal margin over the final 16 minutes, including stoppage time, and denied Teleoptik a late equalizer. The opening goal arrived early when Neskovic finished for TSC in the 11th minute. Teleoptik struggled to find a quick response and picked up a yellow card in the 22nd minute when D. Cvetinovic was booked. TSC had already been shown a yellow card in the 13th minute to A. Stojanovic. The visitors took their one-goal lead into halftime after M. Radin was booked in first-half stoppage time in the 45th minute plus one. The match remained physical after the break. M. Milosavic of TSC was booked in the 47th minute. Teleoptik found its goal in the 54th minute when Radosavljevic scored, leveling the match and setting up a tense final stretch. Neskovic, who had scored the opener, was substituted in the 60th minute along with Milosavic as TSC made two changes at once. Teleoptik made its first substitution in the 71st minute, bringing on M. Ninic. The substitutions added fresh legs for the final 20 minutes. The bookings continued a chippy contest, with TSC finishing with four yellow cards to Teleoptik’s one.

The visitors had been especially productive in recent competition matches, including a 5-1 home win over Metalac and a 4-1 victory at Bor 1919. Teleoptik had been seeking another positive result after a 3-0 win at Metalac earlier this season. The match was played in front of a home crowd, but TSC controlled the early exchanges and struck first through Neskovic. Teleoptik grew into the game after halftime and found the equalizer through Radosavljevic, only for Soprenic to restore TSC’s advantage.

Soprenic was booked in the 67th minute and scored the winner in the 74th, giving TSC the lead for good. Teleoptik made two changes in the 79th minute, with N. Popovic and S. Scepovic entering. TSC made its final change in the 89th minute when A. Stojanovic was substituted. Soprenic played the full match and finished with the winning goal and a yellow card. Neskovic played 60 minutes and scored once, while Radosavljevic played 86 minutes and scored once.
