DUBAI (Interstat) — Nemanja Jović scored in the 7th minute and Abdoulaye Touré added a 64th-minute header as Al Nasr CSC drew 2-2 with Kalba SCC in the Arabian Gulf League on Thursday at Al Maktoum Stadium.

Jović, a substitute, gave Al Nasr the lead with a left-footed strike. Touré’s header evened the match after Kalba had rallied. The game was the season opener for both clubs. Both teams now hold a 0-0-1 record in the competition and across all competitions this season. Each earned a point in the standings. Al Nasr CSC and Kalba SCC compete in the top division of football in the United Arab Emirates.

Yellow cards were issued to Al Nasr’s Marius Høibråten in the 13th minute and Marius Marin in the 66th. Kalba’s Waleed Al Mehrizi, Marwan Fahad and Juninho also were booked. Kalba next plays Al Wasl SC at home on Aug. 20, while Al Nasr hosts Al Wahda FC on the same date.
