MOMBASA, Kenya (Interstat) — Mombasa United FC visits Mwatate United on Sunday, May 24, in a Kenyan Super League matchup featuring two sides with opposite trajectories.

Mombasa United enters the fixture riding strong form, having won six of its last seven matches. The visitors last played May 17, defeating Nairobi City Stars 2-1. That victory followed a 3-0 loss to Talanta on May 10 and a scoreless draw with Migori Youth on May 3. Mwatate has been held scoreless in three of its last four matches.

The teams met most recently Dec. 17, 2025, when Mombasa United shut out Mwatate 3-0 at home. Mombasa has won the last two head-to-head meetings.
