(Interstat) — Oberliga: SV Todesfelde Hosts Blumenthaler SV on Saturday

SV Todesfelde will look to extend a dominant run when they host Blumenthaler SV on Saturday, May 30, in an Oberliga matchup. The game is scheduled for a 2 p.m. local kickoff at Todesfelde’s home ground.

Todesfelde enters the contest on a nine-match unbeaten streak, with eight wins and one draw in their last 10 league outings. Their most recent result was a 3-0 victory at SV Eichede on May 16. That win followed a 2-0 home shutout of Heider SV on May 9, and a 4-0 road win at Preu Reinfeld on May 3. Over their past five games, Todesfelde has outscored opponents 12-0, surrendering no goals since a 5-2 loss to Oldenburger SV on March 25.

Blumenthaler SV, meanwhile, comes in off a narrow 1-0 defeat at OSC Bremerhaven on May 15. That loss snapped a six-match winning streak. Before that setback, Blumenthaler had posted five consecutive victories, including a 5-0 rout of Habenhauser FV on May 9, a 3-0 win at Aumund-Vegesack on May 6, and a 5-1 home victory over Woltmershausen on May 2. Their last road result was a 3-0 win at Brinkumer SV on April 11.

Overall, Blumenthaler has won 10 of its last 11 matches, with the only loss coming against Bremerhaven. The team has scored 33 goals in that span while conceding just four.

Interstat’s game simulator projects a 3-0 victory for Todesfelde. The forecast aligns with Todesfelde’s recent defensive form and home advantage.

Both teams face quick turnarounds after Saturday. Blumenthaler will host 1. FC Germania Egestorf/Langreder on Wednesday, June 3, then travel to Eimsbuetteler on Sunday, June 7. Todesfelde will visit Eimsbuetteler on June 3 before heading to Germania Egestorf/Langreder on June 7.

Todesfelde sits near the top of the Oberliga table, powered by a balanced attack and a stingy back line. Blumenthaler has shown resilience away from home, but the loss to Bremerhaven may have exposed vulnerabilities.

Kickoff is set for Saturday. No further details on broadcast or weather were immediately available.
