SVAY RIENG, Cambodia (Interstat) — A late-season clash in the Hun Sen Cup pits the high-scoring Visakha FC against host Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng FC on Sunday, May 24.

Visakha FC enters the matchup riding lopsided momentum. The club defeated ISI Dangkor Senchey FC 4-1 on April 29, its most recent result. That victory followed a 9-0 home demolition of Phnom Da Mohanokor FC on Feb. 4 and a 13-0 rout of the same opponent on the road Jan. 21. The three matches have produced a combined 26 goals for Visakha.

Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng FC settled for a 1-1 draw at Boeung Ket on April 29. That result followed a 5-2 win at Battambang United FC on Jan. 21. The home side will look to tighten its defense against a Visakha attack that has shown little mercy this season.

Interstat’s game simulator projects a 2-0 victory for Visakha FC.
