R-W Walldorf vs 1. Hanauer FC 1893
WALLDORF, Germany (Interstat) — R-W Walldorf will host 1. Hanauer FC 1893 on Saturday, May 23, in an Oberliga matchup that, according to a game simulator by Interstat, is projected to end 3-1 in favor of the home side.
The fixture comes as both teams near the end of the season in Germany’s fifth-tier league.
Hanauer enters the match on a pronounced downturn. The visitors lost 7-1 at SV Hummetroth on April 25, the most lopsided result in their recent stretch. Hanauer has dropped four of its last five contests overall. The lone victory in that span came March 28 against CSC C03 Kassel (2-1), and its only other point since early March was a 1-1 draw with Waldgirmes on Dec. 6.
The team has struggled defensively, conceding 20 goals over its past six outings. Its attack has managed just six goals in that same period, including three games without a score. The April 2 loss to Hanauer SC 1960 (4-2) and the April 11 defeat at Turabdin Babylon (4-1) highlighted persistent defensive lapses.
R-W Walldorf arrives with more positive momentum. The home side played to a 1-1 draw at Fernwald on May 16. That result followed a 2-1 loss at ET Stadtallendorf on April 18, but Walldorf had recorded a 4-0 shutout of Weidenhausen on April 12 and a 5-1 win at CSC C03 Kassel on March 8.
Walldorf’s record shows inconsistent results but also offensive firepower. The team has scored at least two goals in four of its last six matches. A 2-2 draw at Waldgirmes on March 28 and a 4-2 home defeat to Hanauer SC 1960 on March 22 demonstrate the squad’s ability to score but vulnerability in defense.
The simulator projection suggests Walldorf’s home advantage and recent scoring form will prove decisive. Hanauer will need to correct its defensive structure to stay competitive.
Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. local time at the R-W Walldorf Sportplatz.
