FC Dieppois vs Blois Foot 41
SOCCER PREVIEW: Dieppois hosts Blois Foot 41 in National 2 clash
DIEPPE, France (Interstat) — FC Dieppois will look to snap a three-match winless streak when they host Blois Foot 41 on Saturday, May 16, at Stade Jean Dasnias in a National 2 matchup.
Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. local time.
Dieppois (5-11-10, 26 points) enters the fixture after a 3-1 loss at Haguenau on May 9. The defeat extended a difficult run that includes a 1-0 home loss to Wasquehal on May 2 and a 3-0 setback at Chambly-Oise on April 24. Prior to that stretch, Dieppois recorded a 2-1 win over Bastia-Borgo on April 19, one of only two victories in their last 10 outings. The club has managed just two clean sheets in its past 14 matches across all competitions.
Key to Dieppois’ struggles has been a lack of attacking consistency. The team has been shut out in five of its last eight games and has scored multiple goals only twice since late February (Interstat) — a 4-1 win at Wasquehal on Feb. 28 and a 2-1 home victory over Bastia-Borgo.
Blois Foot 41 (8-9-9, 33 points) arrives in Dieppe with momentum after a convincing 4-1 win over Beauvais at home on May 9. That result snapped a three-match losing streak in which Blois was outscored 8-2, including a 5-2 defeat at Saint-Pryve Saint-Hilaire, a 1-0 home loss to Epinal and a 1-0 home loss to Biesheim. Blois has been unpredictable this season, alternating strong performances with defensive lapses. The club has allowed three or more goals in five matches while also recording shutouts in four others.
Interstat’s game simulator projects a 1-1 draw.
Blois midfielder Antoine Lefevre has been a bright spot, contributing three goals and two assists since early March. Dieppois will rely on striker Mathieu Girard, who has four goals in his last six appearances.
In the teams’ most recent meeting, Blois claimed a 2-0 home victory on Oct. 12, 2025. Dieppois has not beaten Blois since a 1-0 win in Dieppe in March 2024.
With both teams mid-table in the National 2 Group B standings, Saturday’s contest carries no immediate promotion or relegation stakes but offers a chance for either side to build momentum heading into the final weeks of the season.
Dieppois will be without defender Lucas Morel, who is serving a one-match suspension after receiving his third yellow card of the season against Haguenau. Blois reports no suspensions and is expected to field a full-strength squad.
