MANAMA, Bahrain (Interstat) — Joël Beya, Saif-Eddine Bouhra and Zachary Hadji each scored to lead Al Khaldiya SC to a 3-1 victory over Al Najma on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Madinat ’Isa Stadium in a Bahrain Premier League match. Beya opened the scoring in the sixth minute, heading in a corner kick from the left. Bouhra doubled the lead in the 51st with a left-footed strike from outside the penalty area. Hadji added another header in the 82nd, connecting on a cross from the right flank. Mohamed Al Romaihi scored for Al Najma in the first minute of second-half stoppage time, tucking a right-footed shot inside the far post. Al Khaldiya SC improved to 16-3 in league play and across all competitions, extending its winning streak to eight games. Al Najma fell to 6-10, having lost three of its last four matches. Al Khaldiya SC had previously beaten Al Najma 3-0 on Jan. 9. The visitors had won their previous three games, including a 1-0 win at Budaiya on May 3. Al Najma played at home but could not overcome the early deficit. The match was the second meeting between the teams this season.
