Moers vs Fortuna Koln
MOERS, Germany (Interstat) — Fortuna Koln will visit Moers on Sunday, May 17, 2026, in a Regionalliga matchup that pits a visiting side seeking to rebound against a home team desperate to end a prolonged slide.
Fortuna Koln (5-9-3) enters the contest following a 3-0 loss to Borussia Dortmund on May 8. That defeat snapped a two-match winning streak in which the visitors defeated 1. FFC Recklinghausen 3-1 on May 3 and blanked Deutz 1-0 on Dec. 7. The loss to Dortmund marked the third time this season Fortuna Koln has been held scoreless.
Moers (1-11-5) arrives having lost its last four matches, most recently a 4-0 defeat at SSV Rhade on May 10. The home side has been outscored 13-0 in its last three games, including a 2-0 loss to DJK Wacker Mecklenbeck on May 3 and a 7-0 defeat to Bayer Leverkusen on Dec. 7. Moers’ lone victory this season came Aug. 31, a 1-0 win over Pesch.
The sides last met Nov. 2, 2025, when Fortuna Koln posted a 2-0 home win. That result continued Fortuna Koln’s recent dominance in the series; the visitors have won the last two meetings and have not lost to Moers since at least the start of the 2025 season.

After scoring four goals in a 4-0 win over Hennef 05 on Sept. 14, the team managed just one goal in its next three matches, including a scoreless draw at home against Borussia Dortmund on Oct. 26. A 3-3 draw at SpVg Porz 1919 on Oct. 19 was followed by a 4-1 win over 1. FFC Recklinghausen later that same day.
Defensively, Moers has struggled mightily, allowing at least two goals in eight of its last nine matches. The club has kept just one clean sheet this season, a 0-0 draw with SSV Rhade on Oct. 26.
