SAITAMA, Japan (Interstat) — Hanon Nishio scored in the 50th minute and Sumire Suzuki equalized in the 88th minute as Omiya Ardija Ventus and JEF United Ichihara Chiba Ladies played to a 1-1 draw Sunday in a WE League match at NACK5 Stadium Ōmiya.

Omiya Ardija Ventus, which entered the game with a 3-1-4 record across all competitions, earned its first draw of the league season. JEF United, also opening its league campaign with a draw, received yellow cards for Makoto Hasuwa in the 34th minute and Kanae Hayashi in the 48th minute.

Both teams stand at 0-0-1 in WE League competition. JEF United is 0-0-1 overall, while Omiya Ardija Ventus is 3-1-4 across all competitions.
