Fortis FC Hosts Brothers Union in Bangladesh Premier League Clash

DHAKA, Bangladesh (Interstat) — Fortis FC will look to extend its strong run of form when it hosts Brothers Union on Friday, May 15, 2026, in a Bangladesh Premier League match at an undetermined venue. The game is scheduled to kick off at a time to be announced.

Fortis FC enters the contest riding a two-match winning streak after a 7-1 thrashing of Fakirerpool YMC on May 8. The victory followed a 3-2 win over Rahmatgonj MFS on May 1. Over its past five league matches, Fortis FC has won three, lost one and drawn one. The team’s only defeat in that span came April 24, a 1-0 loss to Abahani.

Brothers Union, meanwhile, snapped a three-match winless run with a 3-1 victory over Rahmatgonj MFS on May 9. Before that result, Brothers Union had lost 4-0 to Bashundhra Kings on May 5 and drawn 2-2 with Arambagh on April 30. The team had dropped three of its previous four matches before the win.

A look at the broader season shows contrasting trajectories. Fortis FC has compiled six wins, three draws and three losses in its last 12 league outings, with an aggregate goal differential of plus-13 over that period. Brothers Union has five wins, three draws and five losses in its last 13 matches, with a minus-5 goal differential.

Interstat’s game simulator projects a 2-0 victory for Fortis FC, which would be the home side’s third consecutive clean sheet at home. Brothers Union has struggled away from home, winning only one of its last five road matches.

Key players to watch: Fortis FC’s attack has been prolific, scoring 19 goals in its past six games. Brothers Union will rely on its defense to contain the hosts after allowing seven goals in its previous two away matches.

Weather forecasts for Friday call for partly cloudy skies and temperatures around 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit), with no significant rain expected.

The match will be played under Bangladesh Premier League regulations, with standard substitutions and VAR protocols in place. Tickets are available at the stadium box office and online.
