ISTANBUL (Interstat) — Fenerbahce SK and Eyupspor battled to a 3-3 draw Sunday at Ülker Stadyumu Fenerbahçe Şükrü Saracoğlu Spor Kompleksi in a Süper Lig opener. Mateusz Łęgowski opened the scoring in the 17th minute for the visitors. Metehan Altunbaş equalized in the 36th. Fred put Fenerbahce ahead in the 68th, but Kerem Aktürkoğlu struck twice, in the 79th and 82nd, to give the home side a 3-1 lead. Talha Ulvan pulled one back for Eyupspor in the 87th to seal the draw. Both teams now stand at 0-0-1 in league and all competitions. Altunbaş and Ulvan each recorded a goal and an assist. Aktürkoğlu led all scorers with two goals. Assists went to Archie Brown, Luccas Claro, Nélson Semedo, Jayden Oosterwolde, Anthony Musaba and Yiğit Efe Demir. Seven yellow cards were issued: Yiğit Efe Demir, Brown, Musaba, Ulvan, and three in stoppage time to Altunbaş, Claro and Semedo.
