Duduh Silva goal gives Chiangrai 1‑0 win over Uthai Thani

CHIANG RAI, Thailand (Interstat) — Duduh Silva’s 69th-minute goal lifted Chiangrai to a 1-0 victory over Uthai Thani on Sunday in Thai League 1 play at Chiang Rai Stadium.

Silva’s strike was the lone goal in a match that featured two yellow cards. Chiangrai’s Sittichok Kanno received a caution in the 23rd minute, and Uthai Thani’s Thitathorn Auksornsri was booked in the 36th.

The win gave Chiangrai its first league victory of the season. Both teams entered the contest with 0-0-0 records in Thai League 1 play. Across all competitions, Chiangrai improved to 8 wins, 4 losses and 6 draws, while Uthai Thani fell to 9 wins, 10 losses and 8 draws.

Uthai Thani had lost its previous match 2-0 to Prachuap on May 3, while Chiangrai drew 0-0 with Lamphun Warrior that same day. Chiangrai’s defense kept a clean sheet, denying Uthai Thani any goals. The teams had drawn 1-1 in their most recent meeting on Aug. 17, 2025, when Uthai Thani hosted.

Uthai Thani applied pressure late but could not find an equalizer. The match was a tight defensive battle, with few clear-cut opportunities for either side. The result left both teams still early in their league campaigns.
