Eltersdorf Hosts Grossschwarzenlohe in Oberliga Clash Saturday
ELTERSDORF, Germany (Interstat) — Eltersdorf will aim to build on recent momentum when it hosts Grossschwarzenlohe on Saturday, May 16, in an Oberliga matchup at home.
The game is scheduled for 3 p.m. local time.
Eltersdorf enters the contest unbeaten in its last two outings. The club played FC Eintracht Bamberg 2010 to a 1-1 draw on May 9, following a decisive 3-0 victory over Neumarkt on May 2. Earlier this season, Eltersdorf has shown defensive strength, recording three clean sheets in its last five matches.
Grossschwarzenlohe, meanwhile, has struggled. The visiting side lost 3-2 at home to Gebenbach on May 8, and has won only one of its last six matches overall. Its most recent victory came March 28 against FSV Stadeln 1958.
In the most recent head-to-head meeting, Eltersdorf defeated Grossschwarzenlohe 3-1 on Nov. 2, 2025. That result extended Eltersdorf’s edge in the series.
Grossschwarzenlohe’s road form has been inconsistent. The club has lost its last two away contests, falling 6-2 at Cham on May 2 and 2-1 at ATSV Erlangen on April 17.
Eltersdorf has been strong at home, posting a 2-1 win over Cham on March 13 and a 1-0 victory over Wurzburger FV on March 6. However, the team did suffer a 3-1 loss at Fortuna Regensburg on April 10.
Interstat’s game simulator projects a 1-1 draw.
