1860 Munchen II vs Ismaning

MUNICH (Interstat) — Third-tier Oberliga rivals 1860 Munich II and Ismaning meet Saturday at the former’s home ground, with the host side heavily favored by predictive models despite a recent dip in form.

The two sides last met Nov. 2, 2025, when 1860 Munich II won 2-1 on the road. That result extended a head-to-head streak that has seen the Munich side win three of the past four meetings.

Ismaning enters Saturday on a four-match winning run. On May 9, the team defeated Kottern 4-1. That followed a 3-1 win over Nordlingen on May 2, a 2-1 victory at Sturm Hauzenberg on April 25 and a 2-1 home win against Gundelfingen on April 15. The lone blemish in the past six outings was a 4-1 loss at Kirchanschoring on April 11. Overall, Ismaning is 7-2-2 in its last 11 league matches, with the two losses coming by a combined two goals.

1860 Munich II has struggled recently, winning only one of its last five games. That victory came May 9, a 1-0 decision at Nordlingen. In the same span, the team lost to Ingolstadt II 2-1 (May 9), lost 4-2 at Gundelfingen (May 5), drew 1-1 at FT Schweinfurt (May 2) and lost 1-0 to Sturm Hauzenberg on April 30. The squad has been inconsistent all season, posting a 6-4-6 record in its last 16 matches dating to early March.

Both clubs have been involved in high-scoring affairs at times this season. 1860 Munich II’s biggest win came April 17, a 5-0 home drubbing of Kirchanschoring, while it also suffered a 3-0 loss to Energie Cottbus on April 7. Ismaning’s most lopsided victory was a 3-0 shutout of Türkgücü München on March 14.

According to Interstat’s game simulator, 1860 Munich II will win 2-0. The site’s Elo rating system gives the home side an 87.5 percent probability of victory.

Saturday’s match is part of the Oberliga schedule, with both teams jockeying for position in the table. After this contest, 1860 Munich II faces Verl 1924 II on Saturday as well, though the time of that match has not been announced.

Kickoff is scheduled for an hour to be determined.
