OSC Bremerhaven vs Blumenthaler SV

OBERLIGA PREVIEW: BLUMENTHALER SV AT OSC BREMERHAVEN

BREMERHAVEN, Germany (Interstat) — Blumenthaler SV will play OSC Bremerhaven on Friday, May 15, 2026, in an Oberliga clash at Nordsee-Stadion in what shapes up as a battle between two of the league’s hottest sides.

Blumenthaler SV enters the match with a 14-game unbeaten run, having outscored opponents 49-9 over that span. The visitors most recently thumped Habenhauser FV 5-0 on May 9, a result that extended their winning streak to 11 matches. Their last defeat came Nov. 29, when they lost 3-1 at home to – fittingly – OSC Bremerhaven.

That Nov. 29 result is the only head-to-head meeting between the clubs this season. Blumenthaler SV has otherwise dominated the Oberliga, conceding more than one goal just once since March. They have won 10 of their past 11 by at least two goals, including a 3-0 victory at Aumund-Vegesack on May 6 and a 5-1 thrashing of Woltmershausen on May 2.

OSC Bremerhaven, meanwhile, has rebounded strongly from a mid-season slide. The home team is 5-1-0 in its last six matches, including a 2-0 win at Woltmershausen on May 9. Their only loss in that stretch came April 15, a 2-2 draw with Woltmershausen that actually counts as a tie but snapped a run of five straight wins. OSC Bremerhaven’s offense has been potent: they have scored at least three goals in four of the past five games, including a 6-0 demolition of Sebaldsbrueck on April 26 and a 5-2 win at BTS Neustadt on May 5.

Defensively, OSC Bremerhaven has tightened up, keeping clean sheets in three of the last four matches after conceding eight goals in a three-game skid in late March and early April. Their form at home has been mixed: they lost 4-1 to Eiche Horn on March 22 but have won four of five since.

According to Interstat’s game simulator, Blumenthaler SV is the favorite, projecting a 4-3 final score. Interstat’s ELO system gives the visitors a 62.90 percent probability of victory.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. local time.
